Message	I've gotten pulled over for two accounts of excessive acceleration, and one count of wreckless driving... and then my friend in his camaro z-28 got a ticket for "race behavior!" Excessive Acceleration - From a stop light I pulled my car through first gear to hear if there was a noise coming from my carrier bearing... the cop pulled me over, even though I never reached the speed limit. Wreckless Driving - I was with another Z-enthusiast in his Z31 when we took off fast at a light... no burning of rubber or anything. At the speed limit we slowed down, merged into the turn lane and took a corner fast. (not fast enough to break traction or squeal tires) The cop pulled us over w/in a block. Race Behavior - He was driving with a WS-6 Firebird downtown. They kept their cars in first gear while going 25 in order to make their engines loud, but they never got to the speed limit... just driving slowly! The cop said it was Racing behavior and gave them both tickets. I am a big fan of police when they are doing their job of fighting crime, arresting the bad guys, and making the world a better place. (NOT when they are fining car-enthusiasts for enjoying their expensive cars w/in the legal limits.)
